MORI

Info

Part of 500 Startups’ 17th batch and winner of the Silicon Valley G-Startup Global Finals, MORI is one of the most rapid-growing startups, intent on revolutionising the babywear industry. With two primary sales channels: an e-commerce store for people to shop or buy baby gifts and a subscription service, MORI produces and sells high quality environmentally-conscious gender-neutral organic cotton and bamboo baby essentials. TechCrunch selected MORI as one of their favorite companies from 500 Startups’ 17th batch.

The Challenge

The problem MORI had was being able to consistently develop their web store and finding a strong developer who could help guide the improvements on the store. MORI has their own senior and junior developers but needed external help. They are on a strong growth trajectory and need to continuously take the necessary steps to scale this growth in order to continue outperforming their competitors.

Our Solution

To coincide with MORI's growth strategy, MORI wanted to introduce an array of sophisticated buying features on par with advanced e-commerce stores. Our team serves as an extension of the MORI team and helps them build custom campaigns and integrate with various online & offline E-commerce solutions as well as day to day technical support and project management. In addition to typical site maintenance and improvement we advise on all technical decisions, and implement custom features not natively supported by the Shopify platform. This includes integrations with platforms like Ometria, Facebook, Google, Outbrain, Pinterest, and Trustpilot. Our integrations often span multiple platforms. We have constructed completely custom integrations through a combination of AWS Lambda serverless functions service, API Gateway service, and Simple Queue service to seamlessly link up information flow between the site and services like TrustPilot and Ometria, allowing us to target the customers who are most likely to respond to targeted communication.

Client Testimonial

“Working with Bitcube doesn’t feel like working with an agency. I would strongly recommend Bitcube."

"Bitcube’s team feels like they're part of our team. They are involved in our team meetings on a weekly basis but also on a more strategic level in our quarterly meetings. They really feel like part of the team because they act and work with our long-term success in mind. Besides consistently handling our day to day development needs Bitcube was able to bring in a senior expert which set up our data warehouse. Usually my biggest concern when working with any agency is that sometimes it's more talk and it's harder for the agency's project team to really feel the brand and the task at hand, meaning they feel like a distant third party, whereas with Bitcube that line is a lot more blurred and the Bitcube team is really an integral part of the full team here. They also understand the brand and our vision for the company. Despite working remotely the Bitcube team is doing a phenomenal job. When we launched our subscription service the Bitcube team did a phenomenal job of taking into account a lot of feedback from customers and they also continue to improve the platform based on regular customer feedback gathered on the platform."
